Lee Kuan Yew' Wife passed away

It's normal for all the international dignatories and neighbouring country ministers to pay last visit to a particular country's prime minister or his wife's demise.

That's what happended when Datin Seri Endon Mahmud passed away and all ASEAN prime ministers/presidents paid their visit.

But it was a different story when Lee Kuan Yew's wife passed away recently. None of the Malaysian minister including Prime Minister went for the funeral.

Then only I realised that she was the one who told her husband not to join Malaysia.

This is what he said

"When we were about to join Malaysia, she told me that we would not succeed because the UMNO Malay leaders had such different lifestyles and because their politics were communally-based, on race and religion. I replied that we had to make it work as there was no better choice. But she was right. We were asked to leave Malaysia before two years."

Now you know why Malaysian ministers never paid their last visit to Singapore's former 1st lady.
