Anwar's new Plan

Dato seri Anwar Ibrahim has been nominated to be the candidate for Kajang state seat. Lee Chin Cheh the predeccessor has resigned from the post without stating any reason.

But it's already speculated that Anwar would be the next Menteri Besar for Selangor and the only way is to be a win a state seat. There's a group whom would like to bring down current Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim and the expected name to replace him was Azmin Ali.

Source said that Khalid agreed to step down so long Azmin doesn't take over the post of MB. Thus, Anwar decided to come in himself. Initially, he said, he wont be the MB but now he has declared that he would succeed Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as MB.

It's also said that by becoming MB of Selangor, it's a strategy for Anwar to capture Putrajaya in next election or who knows, it could be this term too.

For me, I like him as a leader and also, he is a Prime Minister Material. I'm not sure why is he going for MB when he can still control the opposition as the head. Anyway, he is definete to win the seat. It's the matter, what's the majority he is going to achieve.

Loss of a freind, buddy, comrade,

There's a saying, if someone moves on, it means god loves that person more than anyone. It was really shock to hear an angel by name of Naeelah Bushrah released her last breath on 23 January at age of 40.

The 1st time I met her was during Malaysia Airlines Officers Installation on August 2009. Therafter, we meet often during Toastmasters conventions and division events. As she took up the exco role in 2009, I advised her, not to stop and move up the ladder in the club adn she made it by becoming the President in year 2010/2011. She even wanted to move up as Area Governor, but then had task to focus on career and family, thus she postponed that aim.

Theafter, we became thick freinds and exchange ideas on Toastmasters club management and also in career. There was a time when I was really down due to my challenges in my work and family, it was at 10.30pm, she still called me and encouraged me, and told me the bright side is just not too far.

I felt touched by her caringness. Now, when I have achieved in Toastmasters and wants to share with her, she is no longer around.

She is someone whom always be in my heart as a good freind.

May her soul rest in peace

Thaipusam 2014

I have been going to Penang for Thaipusam constantly since 2008 (except for 2009 because of my marriage). Though it will be tiring for the 4-5 days of celebration, nevertheless, the excitement, joy and happiness is never dried and always fulfilling.

The main purpose is to get HIS blessings, apart from that, it will be a time to reunite our freindship and to meet people from India, Singapore, Penang, Kulim, Ipoh etc and from all sorts of background and age.

Right from coconut party, ice cream party, vegetarian nasi lemak, vegetarian burger, unlimited coffee and tea, our laughter will be the one which will never rest.

It happens only once in a year and leaves a lasting memories for the entire year.

Revington finally says Good Bye

Finally Paul Revington has tendered his resignation for 2nd time and it's his final decision. The reason for his resignation is Stress related illness.

It looks like it's a silly reason for a international coach to say it, as he has coached Ireland and South Africa previously.

Nevertheless, what I suspect is the management i.e MHC could have just instructed him to coach the team, rather than choosing the right players. In addition, he didn't had rights to choose his own assistants and had to listen to MHC too, where he had additional assistants such as Dharmaraj, and Gobinathan.

In addition, Dharmaraj was also interested to replace and takeover senior team and looks like there could be some hiccups happened in the committee.

Although, Malaysia made it to World cup after long absence, furthermore with mathematical chance. Nevertheless, Paul has revive to his level best the team especially, when they qualified for finals of Azlan Shah cup last year.

Arul Selvaraj has been given the honor to coach the youth team for 2016 world youth cup.

End of the day, it's the management mentality which needs to be changed, if you need to see the development.

Mahathir's right gift

At least the daughter is more open minded

Podi Pokatavaleh

You can't even respect your predecessor. Then you spoke in vulgar words and then merely ask sorry with egoism.

If people ask sorry again, just say it it lah, Why are you so adamant. Just because, you are close with the leader and you want to close the case. But you didn't realise you made a negative impact.

How can you say "see first"? I don't want to argue with you because you are a fool. By arguing with you, it makes me even stupid. It's better I stay away from you. Do take note, even for your success, my effort was there.

No that you are no longer with the company, and you are still struggling to get a permanent job. Listen, you can only shout and scream, that's why other members don't even want to be with you, which still makes to be single.

Now you even say I'm harassing when I'm just following up on questions which were unanswered. People know what is true and what is false. If you are so egoistic, then why don't you move up the ladder, rather than controlling some bunch of idiots in the team.

Why you don't even have a proper direction, don't know what you are doing and heading to, so in Tamil we call you "podi pokatavaleh" which means basically you are headless chicken.

No Hard Rock Cafe for Putrajaya

The Perbadanan Putrajaya Director has decided not to pursue with the idea of having alcoholic beverage cafe in the administrative capital.

Even the Minister of Federal Territory allows it so long it's open on for stipulated time during the day.
My question is, why did you ll allowed it for Kuala Lumpur them? followed by Kota Kinabalu and then Historical city Melaka.

If the director takes in pinion of public from Facebook and twitter, why cant the government do the same when petrol price, tariff rate and food price increases.

In addition, we don't see the positive outcome, where we have more tourist attraction and there could be capital inflow, in having additional hotels or entertainment centers thorough this cafe.

Baby Face for Cardiff

Our Berjaya man had to go to Norway o get a coach whom was a former super-sub or Manchester United. I'm happy at least he still linked with MU.

End of the day, it's whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can turnaround the team.

I really hope this happens

Singapore can Do it, Why can't Malaysia?

Different words from different paper

The protest was a peaceful protest. Just because we were shouting "turun..turun..turun" doesn't mean it's a havoc gathering. Why cant the police use their brain and just give us protection rather than attacking the public.

People gathering/protest is a common thing in Europe and USA. Only in Malaysia they are childish and don't even know how to report it.

2013 in review

It was up and down as usual for the year. Nevertheless, there were several matters/incidents took place which definitely a history or achievement for me.

Meeting with VIP
This year I had privileged to meet the Youth &Sports Minister YB Khairy Jamaluddin, my area member of parliament, YB Tian Chua and CEO of MAS,  Ahmad Jauhari. It's not that I merely meet them at road side or at cafe, but attended the function which they were the Guest of Honor.

Overseas Speaking opportunity
Every professional speaker's desire is o travel around the world and spread their wings. It happen to me too, when I was invited as guest speaker at 2 Jakarta Toastmasters clubs. It was a great experience for me speaking in front of non-native people. Nevertheless, thereafter, I just felt I belong to them too.

Speech Contest
This was definitely icing of the cake where I achieved 2nd place in District evaluation contest which was held at Ipoh. It was my 1st ever district podium finish. In addition, I never took part in 2 Division contest at 1 go, and it happened this year when I Took part in both evaluation and humorous speech contest in Division B and achieving championship for evaluation contest and 3rd place for humorous. Of course all this through double area champion for Area B3 for same contest.

President Distinguished Division
It was a dream come true when I achieved this award, which put the division among the elite division in the district. Furthermore, being the 1st male and Gen-Y Division B governor to achieve it is another icing to it. I also manage to sustain the achievement for 7th time as President Distinguished Division Governor.

12 hours walk
I have taken part in walkathon and big walk. But it was my 1st time walking for 12 hours. Although I walked for only 9:30hours, nevertheless, I walked for 50km which was an achievement for me without sleep.

Marathon
It was my 1st time taking part in 2 marathon in the same season, moreover, 1st Penang Bridge Marathon. Though both marathons I struggled due to lack of fitness, overweight and reduced mileage, but I still made it to finishing line.

Career
Of course it's a important matter for a man, I did secured a safe, secured and stylish place for my career which made me to do things which I have never done before. I always wanted an overseas stint and just nice I got it this year where I was based in Jakarta for 3 months and traveled to Singapore for Regional meeting and training.

Tanggathon
I'm used to climb staircase at Batu Caves. But climbing for more than once is a challenge. And I overcame it by climbing for 6 times.

EMCEE
After 3 years, I got another chance to be Emcee for Malays wedding where I need to speak in Bilingual. It was another exposure for me.

Travelling
I would say it was a high flying year for me as I had to fly to Jakarta for 3 times, Singapore 3 times, Medan once, and Langkawi once. Never in my life I fly more than twice in a year and this year it was 8 times.

Running
When 2012 was my bleak year where I only took part in 4 races, 2013 was better where I took part in 13 races. It's definitely an improvement, because my total mileage for 2013 is at least 10 times more than 2012.

Of course finally, I had 221 blog post compared to 183 in 2012, which was also the highest in my 5 years of blogging..
