Towerthon Trainning - 26 Feb'09

It was my final training at my working place. Another 630steps. As usual first 6 floors were alright for me. Then I felt the toughness, but I still continued. at midway point the main obstacle came where there were smokers at the staircase. When I really need the air, thats where this contaminated air came in. I just said to myself, whatever it is , jut complete it. And I managed to complete it within 4.30 minutes.

My next trainning will be gym and easy run before the showdown on 1st march.

Tanggathon training - 24th Feb'09

I manage to climb the same 630 steps within 5 minutes. I was tired as approaching 7th floor, but just continued. I had to battle with the ciggarate smoke. Once finished, quickly came down and changed to my office clothes. Then went to 7-11 to grab a 'gatorade'. Then went back to work as usual. Tommorow plan to rest and come back on Thursday.

Tanggathon Training - 23 Feb'09

It was my 1st training for KL Towerthon this week. I was worried that I had no idea where to go for training after late office hour. Then I realised that my office itself has 25 floors excluding 5 floors for parking. Therefore, I went back to office at 8pm, then changed to my vest and sport shoe.

I started from B5 and climbed till level 25. It took around 7minutes. first 6 floors were alrite. But then , i started to get tired due to smoke. I dont know why pwople like to smoke at staircase. After reaching level 25, I felt relieved. I slowly came down to ground floor and went back home.

Here's my workout:
25 level x 11 steps x 2 = 550
5 level x 8steps x 2 = 80
Total: 630steps.

Venue: Menara Millineum, Pusat Bandar Damansara
Time: 8pm

I'm going to try it again today.

KL City Day Run - 22 Feb'09

After disappoinment of Cross country, I wanted to do well in this race. I started well and paced Michelle & Daniel for 1st 1km. But their pace kept increasing. My paced slowed down, I saw Stanley,Ronnie, ""Kuda Tua" overtaking me. I just maintained my pace because I wanted to finish off the race.

My run was slow at up hills . Luckily, one guy amnage to pace me for the last 2km. That gave me a bit of satisfaction. When I finish my race my timing was 48:57. Then I realise that im really unfit. I need to buck up on my training becausethere are high hopes on me for next week's Towerthon.

FT Cross Country - 15 Feb'09

This was my 1st run as married man. After 3 weeks without any training, my fitness level went deep down the drain. Luckly, I never put on weight. I knew it's going to be tough run, but i became my worst run after many years.
At beginning itself I couldnt push like how i use to be before. Anyway I continued and allowed people to overtake me. When it came to last 2km, they routed us tpo the jungle. That was the killing part. It was hilly, slippery, thorny. No proper guidance were theer in the jungle. I fell down 3 times due to the slipperiness.
I just wanted to finish off the race. WhenI came to finishing line, they gave me number '58'. Last year, I got top 30. Anyway, now I know that fitness is really important and tough to maitain after marriage.

Next run would be KL City day run on 22nd Feb. Aim to peform better over there.
