It was definitely an International Weekend during last 2 weekend.

1st, I had a chance to be part of the Toastmasters team which had members attending from 20 over countries. In addition, it was given the honour being the evaluator for one of the American speaker, which was all new experience for me.

The meeting was also graced by Sara Khan, International Speaker.

The following day, I conducted an hour talk on Public Speaking for a non-profit organisation via online, which had attendees from 10 countries across 4 continents.

It was my maiden solo online talk to international audience.

Last Sunday I had my 2nd session with the international crowd, this time, including USA.

Sometimes I just feel, you need to keep yourself moving and no one else will come and push you for your progress.

May the MCO keeps pushing us beyond boundaries.

There's no Deputy Prime Minister, although suspects says that it's reserved for Zahid Hamidi, whom is pending to clear his corruption case. Nevertheless, it's similar structure as Singapore, where Senior ministers are appointed for crucial portfolios.

In addition, Azmin Ali has been appointed as replacement chairperson to lead the cabinet meeting in absence of Prime Minister. should Azmin Ali is not available, Ismail Sabri will be chairing the meeting.

Whatever it is, only 1 Indian Minister and 1 Chinese Minister compared to 4 each during the previous cabinet. Current cabinet has been increased to 70, compared to 50 previously.

It's a government which majority Malaysian didn't vote for but due to certain frog parties, and ruling colliation flopped.

Moderate performance in FIH series

While we can be happy Malaysia qualified for the final Olympic qualifiers, nevertheless, we  can expect them to qualify for Olympics should current performance remains.

The recent FIH series, Malaysia finished 2nd behind Canada by loosing with slim margin or 3-2. To make it worse, Malaysia missed 2 penalty stroke, which could have enabled us to win the tournament.

The series had teams whom were ranked lower than Malaysia except for Canada, yet we lost to Italy, draw with China, and beat Wales by 1 goal margin.

The finally

Olympic qualifiers which will offer 7 slots (thanks to Japan as they qualified as host, thus Asian Champion slot is gone), while South Africa will qualify as African Champion, Argentina will qualify as Pan American Champion, Germany will qualify as European Champion and Australia from Ocenia. Thus 5 of the 12 slots are taken.

For the qualifiers, we will have strong line up of Belgium, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, India, South Korea, England, Ireland, Canada.

Looks like Roaland Olthmans service will be continued. They need to buck up or revamp the team, else, they can kiss goodbye to Tokyo.
