Some members of local Malaysian Indian Artistes has handed over a memorandum to MIC youth questioning on THR Raaga for not airing adequate number of locally produced Indian songs/albums.
There were more than 400songs produced but only 2 were aired on weekly basis. "Recording companies has spent more than 100K to produce those albums but there were no adequate support from private radio stations" said one of the artist.
Recent event which is going hot, "THR Raage Astro Awards 2010 was also done on biased. "The voting was done on SMS & online basis where there were no transparency in the rules & regulations. Furthermore, due to certain songs were not aired, they were not selected or appreciated. This has to be avoided" said T.Mohan, MIC Youth Head.
THR Ragaa has resulted in killing Indian local singers' rice bowl and talents. They already killing the Tamil language. now with this, I think we really need to revamp our Indian Community in Malaysia.
