Area B3 International Speech Contest

Thank you first of all for Kuantan TMC for accepting me as member and I promise them to bring glory to the club. As promised it happened today, as I won the International Speech contest by outdoing 5 other contestants.

I had my own pressure because some audience expected a good delivery from me and, there were also rookies from Shah Alam and SPAD club taking part in the contest.

In addition, there was already a stumbling block for me 2 weeks ago which could have jeopardize my ability to contest and also a mental torture. nevertheless, sun will only rise after dark, it's just the patience, passion and perseverance which made me to be stronger.

When the contest briefing, ballot numbers were more than contestants. Thus, we had to re-draw. Then, my title was called wrongly by the contest chair. To avoid any miss-communication, I even typed out my title and name but still it happened.

Anyway, things always happen in triads and it happened. I was contestant number 2 and being one of the early contestant, you need to set the bar, so that other contestants will try to raise it.

After presenting, I had the confidence that I made a good performance and left the rest to the judges. In addition, finishing it before the red light reduced the anxiety.

When results announced, 3rd place.., 2nd place..my names were not there. So when come to 1st place..a lot of people started to look at me.and the contest cair announced the winner by saying out the speech title and it was ME......

The win was even sweeter to get it on the land where I graduated and it was my 1st time contesting at that location.

Regardless of winning or loosing, my aim was to give a "bring home" to the audience. I'm glad that few of the members were inspired by my speech and came and congratulated me personally. That's the really trophy for me.

I didn't take part in Table Topics as it's time to let the younger members to feel the area contest.

My next stop will be Division B contest on April 19, where I will be against 5 other area champions whom will be gunning for the ticket to Kuala Terengganu Conference.

Anwar is jailed for 5 years

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's plan to win the Kajang by-election and become the Selangor menteri besar was scuttled by the Court of Appeal that overturned his acquittal for sodomy, and sentenced him to five years jail.

Last year, Anwar was freed from Saiful's sodomy case. Now, after the appeal, Anwar has been charged for the sodomy and jailed for 5 year.

I dont understand the reason behind this. Is it because, Barisan has won the election and it's gift to the rakyat or BeeAnd wants to eagerly win the Kajang By-election and stop anwar from becoming the next Menteri Besar for selangor.

Should Najib has real guts, he should directly face Anwar and improve the country's performance.

Malaysia fail to qualify Asian Cup

It was their final match last night and Malaysia did reasonably well to beat Yemen 2-1 in a neutral ground at Dubai.

Malaysia had to play with 10 men after Amiridzwan was sent of in the 10th minute but the keeper "Apek" became the saviour.

The goalscorers were, old horse, Amri Yahya and Fakri Sharani.

Nevertheless, the score wasn't good enough to qualify for the Asian Cup finals. Only the best 3rd placed team qualifies for the finals.

Lebanon got the spot as they finished with 8 points, just more goals compared to China and Malaysia Finished with 7 points.

As consolation, we can be happy, we are the best finishers among the South East Asian countries.

But, how long are we going to wait for even to qualify for Asian cup. It's a serious matter to consider change of management, coaching style, players selection and and most important, the champion mentality.

Run Forest Run - 2 March'14

Im running here after 3 years. It's always nice to run here in UPM as the route is surrounded by plantation and forestry.

As we are all in humidity in KL, it was nice to have cool air in UPM.

As usual, the race started late by 15minutes and there were 10 Kenyans running in my category. I just wonder why are they so much interested in a small event which merely offers RM30 for champion. I was at the front 3 rows. As the race started, I cruised to the front group and ensure I had started with fast pace to avoid the slow running group.

The road was mixture of hilly and it was normal road, until the twist came where we were asked to go into a park which had steep slopes.

That actually broke the groups and made the distance between runners longer. It was good that every junction, there were officials and there were 2 water stations.

As it was stated 10km race, I was running in 5 minute pace. As we reach towards the end of the park, I could see the football field where we started. I was happy that I'm about to finish the race. As I reached the finishing line, there were nobody to cheer or congratulate us. Damn, we just had to walk to the booth to collect the medal and goodie bag, then just go back.

There were no light breakfast or isotonic drink distributed. To make it worse, it was only 7.5km distance.

What the heck??? Cant this people measure the distance? if its difference of 500M, i can take it but this is 2.5km. Damn ridiculous.

Next time must see who is the technical team.

Shity Sarawak Yang Dipertua

I know this fellow is a useless leader. Now, it's proven black and white or even in colors, that this fellow is a shitty leader.

Hahahaha, I really fell pity for that state. They are merely cats whom runs for every milk that people gives regardless of loyalty.

Diamond Throwers

When you appoint monkeys, you will only see zoo. It takes maturedness, knowledge, experience and humbleness to create leaders and sucessors.

Should a leader forget all this and only feels that he/she has power and egoism and appliying stupidity, people/staff will just leave the organisation. Worse case this idiotic leaders can even throw them out.

But to this leaders, dont feel that you are so superior. The person up there is watching all your action.

In 2008, Gerard Pique was sold to Barcelona as he was not even in the regular first 15, but Barcelona coach, pep gurdiola saw the potential in him and made him to 1st 11 and very same season, they won champions league by beating the red devils.

It's your task to discuss issue with the person, rather than simply throwing the person out of the team/organization. Well, don't be too happy, people may just call you stupid leader or nut leader because you are a diamond thrower.
