No State of Emergency

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in a statement issued by Istana Negara today, is of the opinion that there is no need to declare a state of Emergency in the whole country or any parts of the country.

While people were anxiously were waiting for the verdict, the King has said, state emergency is not required for now and politicians are advised to focus on people rather than politicking.

While the number of cases are going up aka, 2nd wave, the focus should be reducing the pandemic and ensure public are safe, rather than fighting for the position.

Kings are meeting today

All 9 state rules will be meeting today at 2:20pm at Istana Negara. The point of discussion yet to be determined. It was mooted after PM meet the king on last Friday, upon his emergency cabinet meeting.

Sources said, emergency meeting was due to budget, which was suppose to be presented next month. Nevertheless, it doesn't require Kings consent to draft or finalise the budget.

Apart from it, the main objective of today's meeting could be either on determination of next Prime Minister or ruling party, as there are several leaders whom had audience with the King last few weeks or lockdown in line with increase of covid pandemic.

Whatever it is, let's wait for the final outcome.

WFH for people in KL, Selangor and Putrajaya

Work From Home starts from 22 October for almost 800k employees in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor. Only 10 of the workforce is allowed to work for 3 times a week, for 4 hours (10am to 2 pm).

Nevertheless, usual consumer based business still goes on like normal ie restaurant, supermarket, shops etc.

Only clinics, hospital, police station and fire station will be 24 hours. The rest will have time limits.

For employees whom are back to office or workplace, ensure you have the letter from your employer.

MN will be formed

PAS and UMNO agreed to form/register the alliance called MUAFAKAT NASIONAL (MN). Both the parties combined has 57 seats. In addition, with their stronghold, they have concurred Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perlis, Kedah and joint control in Perak & Melaka.

While it brings good for them, especially with routing for malays votes and rooting for Ketuanan Melayu concept.

But it's not a merge of BN and pas, so what will happen to MIC and MCA ?

Or they are being sidelined as they have only 3 seats, which is not significant.

People voted for Pakatan, as they wanted a multiracial cabinet/representatives and people dislikes racial based [arties or politics.

Evolution of employee

I have spoken in varsities and companies. The common matters they raised were managing Gen-Y were, they like social media, they don't like to be controlled and they want flexibility and constant changes.

Well, when time changes, you have to change and go with the tide.
