Finally I got it
In always wanted to be a podium finisher at a Tamil speech contest. After few TV appearance, it was the time to against the cream of the crops. After last year's dismal performance. I didn't put much hopes this round as I just wanted to make it for the numbers.
Furthermore, going against speakers from India and Tamil educated like Devan, Ramzan, Vasanthi, Anbil and Sujatha is definitely a uphill task. Tusk, I went there and just told my own story.
My main aim was to give a strong message and ensure audience remembers my message, regardless of winning or loosing.
I was contestant number 4. I did it on my own style and received thunderous applause from the audience and I had the satisfaction.
When announcement came, as usual, bit of nervousness will be there and when my name was announced, I was really happy and exited. At least it's a boost for me to continue in my speeches.

People's Assembly at Kelana Jaya on 8 May
This is my 2nd time for such assembly after Bersih 2.0.
After my Toastmasters meeting which was at LDP, I could see the jam from The Curve at 8pm it self. LDP was jammed, thus, I took NKVE. Supprisingly, NKVE was also jammed from PJ exit onwards. The beauty part was, even the TOLL was blocked because of jam.
Public just parked at the side of the road, highway including federal highway & LDP and walked. As I went to the entrance of the stadium around 9.30pm, it was already packed. I was merely standing at the pathway to the track. public were cheering "UBAH", "INI KALI LAH", "Malaysia is for Malaysian", "BERSIH".
I even saw Chinese and Indian people wearing PAS cloth on their forehead. Next, the people were energetic yet had the teamwork spirit. I saw few people trying to claim the fence to go to the up stairs and they were carried and help to bring this people whom were down.
I could say at least 100,000 people were there in the stadium and there were people still coming in after 10pm. As I need to prepare for the work tomorrow, I left after Nurul Izah speech. As I went out, the traffic was bad, as Police boycotted the event. Nevertheless, the rakyat became the traffic marshal and started to direct the traffic. The traffic could have been bad, but rakyat never complained about it.
Furthermore, when I walked out, I meet a senior malay guy, and he just say "Kita perlu bersatu. Kita rakyat Malaysia. Ini negara kita, bukan untuk orang lain".
What I could say is:
1. No free food or drinks
2. No door fee or allowance
3. no free t-shirt
But the rakyat came for the event because they love Malaysia, regardless of race and religion.
Police may summon 28 out of 33 speakers, but my question is what are you going to do with national newspapers which is one sided. If you are going to jail those whom went to the assembly, do you have enough jail rooms for 100,000 people.
I could see many entrepreneurs that day whom came and set up food stalls, t-shirt, mask, trumpet stalls. They made good sales and they didn't complain. Why is our current government is complaining so much?

Larian Bersama Bomba - 12 May'13
After tough hill run on Thursday and blood donation on Friday, looked like I needed a recovery. As I woke up, I was already sweating. This just shows how humid it was in KL. The route is a normal 11km route for KL runs which I'm very familiarise.
I ensured myself to be enough stretched and warmed. As the race started 15 minutes late due to late arrival of top Bomba people. I already knew it's going to be humid. There were 2 water station, which I really needed due to the humidity.
At beginning, I allowed most of them to overtake me, as my aim was to pick up towards last 5 km after the major hills. After passing by Indian High commission, I started to push myself and as I reached Dataran Merdeka, my final sprint made me to overtake 2 runners.
My placing was 109 with timing of 58:03 (although not my best), nevertheless I completed with with my fitness at minimum level.

Smartly dressed stupid
sometimes, we dress to show our professionalism or our character. But, the dress could become your liability when it becomes exposed to elements which not suppose to be. Worse cane of the person is someone whom is a leader of an organisation or a group.
We do know some ministers don't have time to write their speech and let their political secretary to do it. Nevertheless, the speechwriter, is also someone whom is in the same mindset as the leader. But when a person from behind writes the speech and the leader merely accepts it, that doesn't proves leadership. Famous writers including local ones like citizen nades or raja petra has their own tone and they never allow someone else to write their speech. If you are merely a forwarder of a email, this proves you are merely a follower and not a leader.
People respect Tony fernandes as he just bought the company called Air Asia for RM1 with huge debt and turn it around. Same goes to Idris Jala whom is also known as turn around king. This people could have closed the company if they would have thought. But their positive egoism made them to turn around the company. It would just take 5 minutes to close a bank account, probably a year to liquidate a company and merely a letter to close certain organisation or association. But if it's easy, a non-leader could do it. You will be called a leader when you lead the task and and achieve a credible stage. Even if you don't succeed at least you have tried. Even without trying and having mentor and coaches and guides to help, if you just close the thing, then whats the point of creating such organisation.
Have you ever thought of the hard work that has been put in to create the club and you just close it with few minutes.
End of the day it's a judgement, whether you decorate yourself to look smart but the thinking is stupid or vice verse.

Letter to Najib
Dear Najib Razak,
You may have won simple majority, but in our hearts, you are a SORE LOSER.
1. You hide the ballot box
2. You brought in phantom voters
3. You instructed TNB for a blackout
4. You told SPR to buy ink which never stays on our finger
5. You even controlled SPR to screw up the ballot paper.
DAMN,
- now your wife can go to overseas to buy another luxury ring using Rakyat's money
- you can continue killing overseas beauty peagents
- your subordinates can buy submarine which wil never function
- your ministry can build cracked roads/flyovers
- your son can go to Uzbekistan for clubbing
and all this is by using our citizen's hard work.
The game starts now - Ali Baba & 40 thieves (Malaysian Version) headed by Najib
Note:
I posted this message on Facebook and just within 24 hours, it was shared 455times. I feel honoured as normally my posting will only get merely 10 likes. BUT this message goes viral throughout the country.
All this just for one reason - All of us care for Malaysia.
I stayed up till 2.30am. We were exchanging messages upon receiving confirmation that BeeAnn has won. I just felt frustrated with the way they got into Putrajaya.
