Here's the prove that Tamil's influence in Malay language
Tamil is definitely one of the oldest language in the world and the only ancient language still being spoken.
Tunku Abdul Rahman words
Go to place where they respect, value and appreciate you
Few days ago I was given the opportunity to be part of the panel speakers for MIA Toastmasters, where it was a discussion on financial industry. I had previledge to share the stage (virtually) with senior member Mr.Chen and my MIA YPC buddy Richard.
While all of us are accountants, our task is to ensure the audience feel glad to be in the industry and ensure how they can enhance their career to ensure its not a boring career.
It was a great experience with moderator Jeff, where the questions posed were related to softskills mainly on leadership and communication skills.
While there were many questions posed which was as part of the moderation, the main task of a speaker is to attract, influence and inspire the audience. While the moderations, there were many responses, and1 response which caught my attention was as attached above.
Someone, whom has been a stranger, and got connected through those few minutes is the art of the leader/communicator. We could have come from different background, genre, race/religion, but we shared the same motive/concept, which I felt as a great leader you would need to break all this conventional method or orthodox way of thinking.
While we have so many keyboard warriors, buy putting comments through fake profiles, here I'm seeing true people whom respects and appreciates for what you are and what you do.

In politics there's no permanent Friend or Enemy
https://www.nst.com.my/news/politics/2021/02/667234/dr-mahathir-may-apply-re-join-umno-no-position-set-conditions
https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2021/02/665020/gerakan-officially-part-pn
Within Span of 2 weeks, 2 major news sparked for the current ruling party.
Gerakan came back to PN after exiting the BN in 2018. Having lost all the state and central seats in GE14, the multiracial party whom were once has stronghold in Penang has lost people's trust. even when previous President Mah Swee Keong was only MP in previous GE13 (with win through bi-election).
With formation of PN and TSMY has invited them to the party and got it sealed on recent virtual CNY celebration.
yesterday, former minister and UMNO Perlis state liaison chairman has given opinion to open the door for Tun M to be back to UMNO, of course with conditions. It was also supported by UMNO veteran , Ku Li, where they felt, with his inclusion to the team/party, the party hope to gets it's stronghold and people's trust for GE15.
While PN's aim is for Malay Muslim government, on other side, there's a faction between UMNO itself, where a pact is supporting TSMY and others wants UMNO to exit PN and stay as BN.
While MCA and MIC still appears to be weak and Sabah BN component parties has proved they are gaining momentum with recent win in state bi-election.
Even Ku-Li had his won party called Semangat 46, and thereafter the party joined UMNO. Thus, with current status of Malay based party which has 5 of them (UMNO, PAS, Amanah, Bersatu and Pejuang), they hope, they could reduce the number of parties and re-unite the malays. Furthermore, with rejection by ROS on registration of Pejuang, Tun M and his team would definitely need an umbrella to represent and contest for GE15, which would be expected to be held upon dissolving the emergency committee.

Big squad at World Tour Finals
The surprising part was, Malaysia will be represented by 2 [airs in Women Doubles, which never happened in the history.
This will be a good platform for the men singles and men doubles to prove themselves. It's crucial for all the players, as it also serves as qualifier for the Tokyo Olympics.
As the pre-requisite was to participate in both Thailand Opens, and Malaysian team sent a full squad for the tournaments.
Though there were mixed reactions on their performance, as Malaysian team failed to win any titles from the 10 titles for grab. Nevertheless, we should take note that, these players didn't had international exposure/opportunities last years with the pandemic compared to the Europeans.
The only consolation they had was National Tournaments, which didn't test their full potential, although they were training for the whole year.
We hope, there would be at least 2 semifinalist or even good 1 finalist out of the 5 categories.
Penang Thaipusam

Within the last few hours/wee hours, our HR Minister, Datuk M.Saravanan manage to convince the National Security Council to allow the Thaipusam chariot (silver chariot from Natthukottai Chettiar Temple)
Continuing an unbroken tradition for the past 164 years where the chariot departs from Penang Street and reaches Waterfalls road.
Obviously, the deputy Chief Minister, prof P.Ramasamy was unhappy an now he want to bring the temple committee to the court and take over the temple management.

This is what happens when Egoism and political difference comes over religious practise.

MCO extended
https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2021/01/22/mco-extended-to-feb-4-for-all-states-except-swak
With the cases are increasing, the MCO has been extended till February 4th for entire country except for Sarawak.
With rising of daily cases, which has been above 3k, a stronger step had to be taken by the government to reduce the cases.
Nevertheless, the restaurants operating hours has been extended to 10pm (previously 8pm), which gives more flexibility for people to move around.
