Temple doesn't belong to you alone....

It was a great article written in Malaysian Nanban. You may read the news published on 14 August. The temples were built for people around the area or community. A particular individual, family or groups cannot be running the temple on their own way.

2 wrongs doesn't make 1 right. just because, your grandfather or father was one of the one mooted to build the temple (not that they built it as they were not the civil engineers or technicians), doesn't mean that the entire generation of them can own the temple.

To make things worse, when you are the so called manager, you task is to manage, not to be bossy and giving empty promise, nor lame excuses such as I have so much things to do. If you have so much things, then delegate it.

You brag that your grandfather or father built the temple, but when people ask for a RM2 worth towel as sponsor for for a number of pax, you claimed that you don't want to create a new practise. Leaders don't simply take people's money, they give out their leadership and be humble, not being arrogant, or people say "bodoh sombong"

At Taman Tun Dr.Ismail, Naza Corporation built the mosque, but Late Naza's sons can't claim that to belongs to them. It's still managed by the resident association of the Taman, and their stakeholders are the residents. Thus, the management committee listen to the residents, and being a servant leader, rather than bragging ownership illegally.

The article came at right time...hope we have more leaders than cronies.

Bayern Munich and Paris St.Germain fight-out on the best of the best for the European Clubs. It was a Paris born player, Kingsley Coman scored the winning goal for Bayern. The best part, Phil Coutinho whom was on loan to Bayern from Barcelona, was lucky enough to win the title.

PSG had their star studded team line up too such as Angel Di Maria, Mbape, Neymar, but Neuer and the team sealed the deal.

Be the Farmer

There was a farmer who grew excellent quality wheat and every season he won the award for the best grown in his county. One year a reporter from the local newspaper interviewed the farmer and learned that each Spring the man shared his seed with his neighbors so that they too could plant it in their fields.

“How can you afford to share your best wheat seed with your neighbors when they are entering their crops in the competition with yours?" the reporter asked.

“Why that's very simple,” the farmer explained... "The wind picks up pollen from the developing wheat and carries it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior wheat, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of all the wheat, including mine. If I am to grow good wheat, I must help my neighbors grow good wheat".

The reporter realized how the farmer's explanation also applied to peoples' lives in the most fundamental way... Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.

Your Time Shall Come

Just be focused and your time shall come.

While I started following Nicol David since 1992, it was my aim 1 day I shall meet her face to face and have a long chat with her.

In 1998 Commonwealth Games, I had the golden opportunity to meet her after her match at Bukit Jalil stadium.

Probably due to our tender young age, I was bold enough to ask her phone number and address. Obviously, she declined. My final wish was to take a picture with her, which she agreed.

Days passed, I wished I could have a longer chat with her.

She became a World Number 1 squash player, loads of accolades and voted as GOAT.

22 years later, the time came. Last Monday, I was given the honour/previledge to become emcee cum moderator for Nicol David's motivational talk/sharing session (including wishing her advance birthday wishes).

She was suppose to be in Malaysia, however due to the current situation, she was not able to fly, thus the session was conducted online.

Her attitude was humble, and she was professional on the points/opinions.

A great milestone for me in my speaking journey.

Her advise was be focused and leave out the negativity. You shall become successful.

My time shall come and it came last Monday....

Look at people whom love you

You wont move forward if you look ate people whom spits at you or tarnish your name or even people when people talk bad about you (behind you - as they have not guts).

But, looking at successful and happy people, they only look at people whom loves they and they spread the love too or inspire them.

It's great to attend events, when you have your fans supporting you or hey become your fan, by the way you present yourself and words that you say.
