MSL New Logo

Initial Logo

Later.......

NOW.....

Whatever changes you do, it's about winning. EPL, La Liga, Seria A never changed their logo, but still maintained their quality and attracted the spectators.

Hope we can have the same.

Stuart Michael Ramalingam (left) is the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Malaysian Super League (MSL) Sdn Bhd. On his left is of course German legend, Lothar Matthaeus.

A FIFA marketing consultant and instructor who in 2009 was tasked to help promote and market the Myanmar national league, Stuart, 33, who hails from Petaling Jaya, replaces Seremban chap Kuhan Foo, 41, who is now the Asean Basketball League (ABL) CEO.

Stuart's appointment was endorsed by the FAM exco last week. He will be working closely with MSL Chairman, Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

23 Pedestrian Bride in KL are unsafe

Twenty-three pedestrian bridges and a busy walkway in the city have been declared unsafe by the police.

City police has come out with a list detailing the bridges which need attention – mainly for lack of lighting and visibility which were ideal for crime.

This has stung the Kuala Lumpur City Hall into action, with the local authority saying the bridges will be repaired or upgraded within two weeks.

Federal Territories Gerakan anti-crime and public safety bureau chief Lim Teck Ang, who disclosed this, said advertisement boards fixed to the bridges would be removed as they were blocking users’ view.

Lights will also be replaced or installed to ensure the bridges are well lit at all times,” he added.

Lim, who had highlighted the problem to city police, said the roof of several bridges were too low.

“City Hall will replace them to allow more lighting and visibility,’’ he added.

“Eleven of the bridges were deemed too dark, seven were covered by advertisement boards and trees with the rest not well-maintained,” he added.

The bridges included those in Jalan Pahang, Jalan Genting Klang, Jalan Gombak (Off Jalan Chong Hwa and Batu 5), Jalan Ipoh, MRR2, Abdullah Hukum, Jalan Pantai Baru and Bangsar. The walkway identified was the one linking KL Sentral to the Brickfields monorail station.

My comment
I realised that all above stated areas are under opposition, thus it could be a political fiasco, to get voters to vote for Bee Ann.

Bad Start for Kenny Dalglish

Kenny Dalglish was the choice for Liverpool after sacking Roy Hodgson. The former Liverpool and English player had his important match yesterday when they meet Man United at 3rd round of FA cup.
Just after 2 minutes, penalty was awarded when Berbatov nicely acted as if he was pushed in penalty box and the referee offered the spot kick. Ryan Gigs didn't do any mistake to kick the ball at right corner and the goalie, Pepe Reina went to left side.
At 37th minute, Steven Gerrard was sent off with a red card with 2 footed attack over Michael Carrick. And the score remained at 1-0 till end of the match.
Hope this lose will revive the team to qualify for Europa Cup at least.
