Easiest place to do business

Singapore retains its top spot as the easiest place to do business, according to World Bank Group’s annual ease of doing business measurement.

Joining the island nation on the list of the top 10 economies with the most business-friendly regulatory environments are New Zealand, in second place; Denmark (3); Republic of Korea (4); Hong Kong SAR, China (5); United Kingdom (6); United States (7); Sweden (8); Norway (9); and Finland (10).

The main point which made them as winner was less complexity and increased efficiency in getting approval.

Wonder if Malaysia be even in top 10 even after 2020.

Only in Malaysia

Just for the sake of vote, the citizenship is being sold. Now, even Indonesians are becoming Malaysian and worse thing, becoming millionaires.

Existence of Wi-Fi

Phone is a good device to connect with people.

But it could be also a dangerous tool to disconnect people, especially the loved ones are beside you.

Kuwait FA is banned..JDT to become potential champions

FIFA has suspended the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) "with immediate effect" after it failed to make changes to sporting law within the country.

A country's football association should run independently without government intervention, and should be guided by regional body (AFC) and international body (FIFA).

With this, Kuwait's participation in AFC cup which has 2 clubs i.e Al-Qadsia and Al Kuwaiti will get a chop. This means, Johor Darul Takzim and Istikol from Tajikistan will qualify automatically to finals.

JDT has already created history being the 1st club to qualify for semifinals. Now they will become 1st club to qualify for finals. And, has chance to become 1st ever Malaysian club to win Asian title.

World's most powerful city

The Global Power City Index, by the Mori Memorial Foundation's Institute for Urban Strategies, ranks cities by six measures, including their economy, research and development, cultural interaction, livability, environment and accessibility.

Facebook under declare tax?

Facebook has insisted it is complying with the law despite paying just £4,327 in corporation tax for the whole of last year.

The amount is less than the average UK worker, who with an annual salary of £26,500, would contribute a total of £5,393 through income tax and national insurance.

According to the company’s accounts, Facebook pushed itself into operating at a loss of £28.5m in Britain, following a payout of more than £35m to staff as part of a share bonus scheme.

For me, it's on the tax agent, whom furnished and submitted the tax return should be accountable too. Of course, the tax agents would have consulted and discussed on the final figure to be submitted.

Facebook could have got special exemptions, double tax relief or reduction in rates. Perhaps, it's time for Facebook or the Inland revenue board should start speaking on the logic of the tax return figure.

Monthly salary to own house

Looks like fresh graduates, can't buy house in Klang valley.

New Toll rates

Why are we keep increasing the toll rates? If the maintenance cost is increasing, then the number of cars also increasing. Why cant we opt for cost efficient method, unless, we really have some under table business going on.

Worse thing, our Prime Minister, keep telling lies. people's burden increased. Where got toll money used to build school and hospital? Is our minister mad?

Sweden shift to 6 hours

Sweden has changed. They have better happiness index. Their offices open 7 days a week, but each individual works only 5 days and for 6 hours.

So what about Malaysia. We still have to queue for passport although we get it within 3 hours. For us we need more automated government system and efficient employees with brains.

Telephone & Internet charges in ASIA

Looks like our government is giving low quality service with 1st class price. Our UNIFI has sometimes issues due to the speed. Worse thing, we have to pay for the TV service with premium channels. Why our neighboring country could offer better internet speed with lower fees, If good internet service, I can even make calls via FB, Whatsapp or Lebara.

MH17 was shot down by missile

It's confirmed that  Flight MH17 was shot down in eastern Ukraine by a Russian-made anti-aircraft missile.

Nevertheless, the blame game resumes that Russia and Ukraine team is avoiding and keeping mum on the issue.

Whoever it is, it's pity-full passengers whom were affected. There were no justice for them.

3 hits with 3 goals

Football Association of Malaysia has been hit wth 3 penalties/fines:

1. Fine of 40,000 swiss franc which is around rm180,000

2. The match with Saudi Arab which was disbanned at 2-1, was declared 3-0 to Saudi (Malaysia even lost the goal)

3. Next match with UAE will be played in empty stadium (even with supporters, we cant win, no empty, no need to say anything)

It's time for the management to go.

Syrians accepted but Malaysians?

Najib announced that he will open Malaysia's door to the Syrian refugees. He just want to prove his goverment is freindly and willing to acdcept anyone.

But what he is triying to do is, make this Syrian's as Malaysian citizen and vote for stupid BeeEnd. There are much Malaysians without birth certificate and identity card.

We already seen Bangladeshi, Cambodians, Indonesian and Myanmar people assisting BN to win the election in 2013.

What's next ? Even Foreigners outnumbered outnumbered Malaysian Indians. Is this another political flick?

Malaysia Football saga

There's a lot of things could be spoken about our football team. Worse thing, now our future is under FIFA. They may even suspend similar to Indonesia due to our "bombing" incident.

It's a pity for the future of our country sporting image, especially when we intend to organise World cups, and Olympics.

Of course the sultan family must go off but the coaching team should also be independent. The selection criteria should change from race based to skill based.
